We like the excellent and wonderful location - near the train station. Don't forget to explore Higashiyama Ward district. The units are bright, spotless with a futon, tatami mats plus a big couch.

Absolutely perfect and efficient hip new hotel location really close to Kyoto Station and other subway stations as well as bus stops. Close to everything. Pleasant bar area. Honestly nothing too much trouble.

We had an amazing stay at this clean and new hostel. the owner was incredibly knowledgeable and made our holiday extra special. the location was convenient, close to temples and the city center. the bed was comfy and there was plenty of space. the hostel offered free tea and coffee, as well as laundry facilities. We would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Japan!

The owner, who was once a budget backpacker himself, knows exactly what travelers need in a hostel. There is free 24-hour laundry with the option to buy detergent. The hostel offers free tea and coffee, as well as a well-equipped kitchen. The common area is a great place to meet new friends. The location is easy to find and within walking distance of Kyoto Station, the Kamo River, Kyoto National Museum, and Sanjusangendo. Bike rental is available for exploring Kyoto.

loved my stay here! in comparison to my last visit to kyoto, guesthouse wind villa was a breath of fresh air. the spacious and cozy japanese tatami bed, the rooftop with great views, and the kind owner made it a perfect stay. definitely coming back!
